Why did you apply to Race To Revenue? What are you hoping to get out of this experience? Graduating from Notre Dame, I was looking for an opportunity to continue to develop Platform full time. Race to Revenue provided me with the perfect opportunity to devote the majority of my energy toward my company and visualizing what our next steps might be. I hope to come out of this experience with a rounded strategic plan detailing our company's growth strategies as well as increased connections, particularly toward potential partners such as theaters or universities.
Has there been someone who has helped you with your venture so far? University of Notre Dame’s Film Television and Theatre Department and the IDEA Center.
What do you want to learn more about, relating to business development in general or your own company/venture specifically? Through this experience, I want to learn more about raising startup funds, projecting revenue growth, and detailing the scalability of a company. Specifically, I hope to learn what partners desire out of production companies and what the best first step to developing a streaming platform might be.
Fun fact: We just launched our MVP, Eleven Months of Nuclear Summer. Our first ever live-streamed show with an in person and virtual audience. Sophie McIntosh, the playwright, is pictured center alongside the rest of the Platform team.
