Describe your company: Verge Labs is a contract research organization and deep-tech development engine pursuing competitive advantages by leveraging the infrastructural and intellectual ecosystems at universities. Through our operations we seek to provide the highest quality scientific research services to our clients and accelerate the development and commercialization of tech. Our relationships with universities allows us to be more agile and capital-efficient than our competitors, and the synergies across the CRO and tech development divisions enables unmatched speed in development.

What is your role in the company, and please list team members' names and their current role in the company:  I am the CEO and Ian Lightcap is technical lead.

Why did you apply to Race To Revenue? To continue pursuing my startup after graduation with the added benefit of leveraging Notre Dame’s amazing resources and networks.

Has there been someone who has helped you with your venture so far? My father, Stephen Tullman, Matt Leevey, John Henry and Veronica Louise Mendoza.

What do you want to learn more about, relating to business development in general or your own company/venture specifically? Legal perspective on developing intellectual property (workshop with examples would be great for the process of creating and filing patents).
