Why did you apply for the Commercialization Engine Internship? To prepare myself for a role as an operator of a startup company.

What team are you working on? I am working as the COO (CXO) of SpoRx Therapeutics and on the Risk Assessment Team.

What project are you working on? SpoRx Therapeutics and Chiral Graphene Quantum Dots Enhanced Drug Loading into Small Extracellular Vesicles.

Describe your overall internship experience: In Tony the Tiger voice, "It's been Gr-r-reat!!!.... but for real."

What has been your biggest takeaway from the internship? My biggest takeaway has been learning how to juggle multiple things, such as everything involved with operating a startup, learning about new technologies, and performing risk assessments.

Fun fact about you: My sister and I are born on the same day but three years apart, and now we share a birthday with her daughter. January 5th is a date we'll never forget.
