Why did you apply to work for  Race To Revenue? What are you hoping to get out of this experience? I originally applied to Race To Revenue to try out UX/UI design in a professional setting to see if I would enjoy it. I hope to leave my comfort zone and learn more about entrepreneurship!

When is a time you failed forward? During the Fall 2022 semester, I overloaded myself with too many commitments, and my academic performance suffered because of it. I considered both my academic performance and inability to balance everything failures at first. But the following semester, I decided to focus on my academics and exceeded my academic goals.

Where were you born? What is an interesting fact about your hometown? I’m from Irving, Texas, which is right outside of Dallas. A fun fact about my hometown is that it has the 11th-highest immigrant population in the United States!

Would you rather go back in time or be transported to the future? I would rather be transported into the future because I feel like I could learn more from the future.

Who is the fictional character you have the most in common with, and why? I have much in common with the character Retsuko from the show “Aggretsuko.” She is a young professional who has been described as a goodie-two-shoes her whole life, but in the show, she learns to step outside of her comfort zone and grow from it. I feel like the lessons Retsuko learns throughout the show are similar to those I have been learning recently.

Fun Fact about you: I dye my own hair! So far, I’ve done pink, orange, purple, and red. Red is my favorite hair color so far!
