Why did you apply to work for  Race To Revenue? What are you hoping to get out of this experience? I applied to work for Race to Revenue because I wanted to hone my user experience (UX) research and design skills. I also felt that a startup accelerator was the perfect place to learn because of the diversity of ideas and companies. I only recently discovered UX, but I quickly grew interested in gaining a deeper understanding of clients and creating friendly, efficient, and inclusive experiences for everyone.

When is a time you failed forward? A time that I failed forward was when I got cut off in the middle of an important presentation because I went overtime. I was really frustrated because I didn't time myself well and had a lot of unseen content left that almost felt like a waste because I couldn't showcase it to the audience. However, this helped me become more aware of my timing for future presentations and has pushed me to practice more before every public speech, presentation, and debate.

Where were you born? What is an interesting fact about your hometown? I was born in Manila, Philippines! Manila is located on the island of Luzon, which is one of the 7,641 islands in the country.

Would you rather go back in time or be transported to the future? It depends! I like the idea of going back in time before me because it would be interesting to experience a lot of the cool events I've read about in history. Alternatively, I think that being transported to the future has perks. It would be an amazing experience that would help me step outside of my comfort zone and shatter my perceptions.

Who is the fictional character you have the most in common with, and why? I think a fictional character I have much in common with is Rory Gilmore from Gilmore Girls. Rory and I have a trait in common: we can both be a bit introverted. While this is not necessarily a bad thing, I think it sometimes tends to hold me back from reaching out to people, and I am working on this. On the other hand, I strongly relate to her personal drive and loyalty to her loved ones. We also both enjoy reading books and are huge foodies!

Lastly, what do you want to learn more about, relating to business development in general or your own company/venture specifically? I want to learn more about retaining current clients and properly scaling a company.

Fun Fact about you: I'm in the top 1% of Clairo listeners (according to Spotify).
