Pitch your idea, receive feedback from experienced entrepreneurs and investors, and compete for funding to help move your venture forward.

Pitch Fridays is a weekly opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to share their ideas, receive constructive feedback, and connect with the IDEA Center's entrepreneurial community. Whether participants are exploring a new concept or advancing an existing venture, Pitch Fridays provides a supportive environment to test assumptions, refine business ideas, and gain valuable insights from experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and startup advisors.

Participants present their ventures, discuss challenges and opportunities, and receive guidance that can help shape their next steps. Select ventures may also be eligible for early-stage funding to support customer discovery, prototype development, market validation, or other startup activities.

Eligibility

Pitch Fridays are open to current University of Notre Dame students interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, or venture creation. Participants may present ideas at any stage of development, from early concepts to more advanced ventures. Students from all disciplines and experience levels are encouraged to participate.

Application Guidelines

Students begin by submitting their idea to the IDEA Center. A Startup Coach will work with participants to refine their concept, identify next steps, and prepare for a Pitch Fridays presentation. Once ready, participants may register for an available presentation slot and share their venture with the Pitch Fridays panel.

Funding

Participants may be eligible to receive early-stage funding to support venture development activities. Funding opportunities and award amounts are determined through the Pitch Fridays process and may vary based on venture needs, progress, and available resources.
