ACC InVenture Prize Competition

A conference-wide innovation competition that gives undergraduate student entrepreneurs the opportunity to represent Notre Dame, pitch their ventures, and compete against teams from ACC universities.

The ACC InVenture Prize is a premier undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship competition sponsored by the Atlantic Coast Conference. Designed to showcase the creativity, ingenuity, and entrepreneurial spirit of students across ACC institutions, the competition brings together undergraduate teams to present their ventures before a live audience and a panel of judges.

Selected student teams represent their universities while competing against peers from across the conference. Participants gain valuable experience refining their pitches, presenting their ideas, and engaging with entrepreneurs, innovators, and business leaders. The competition highlights student-led innovation while fostering collaboration, camaraderie, and entrepreneurial engagement throughout the ACC.

Eligibility

The competition is open to undergraduate students who are actively developing an innovative product, service, technology, or venture. Teams selected to represent the University of Notre Dame must meet all eligibility requirements established by the IDEA Center and the ACC InVenture Prize program. Participation typically requires a student-led venture and the ability to present the venture in a competitive pitch format.

Application Guidelines

Interested students must apply through the University of Notre Dame selection process. Applicants are evaluated on the strength of their venture, innovation, market potential, and presentation readiness. Application timelines, submission requirements, and selection criteria are announced annually.

Funding

Participating teams compete for cash prizes and conference-wide recognition. Prize amounts and award categories are determined by the ACC InVenture Prize organizers and may vary from year to year.
