Emily Stoler

Emily Stoler serves as the Researcher Liaison Manager at the University of Notre Dame’s IDEA Center, where she leads the researcher liaison and technology development team. She works closely with faculty researchers to identify promising innovations and provides strategic guidance throughout the commercialization process, including technology assessment, intellectual property strategy, market validation, development, licensing, industry partnerships, and startup formation. She serves as the primary researcher liaison for life sciences, the Keough School of Global Affairs, and the College of Arts and Letters.

Since joining the IDEA Center, Emily has held roles focused on evaluating and advancing early-stage university technologies. She previously served as the Risk Assessment Program Manager, conducting market research and commercialization assessments for faculty innovations. Before joining Notre Dame, she worked in the environmental protection sector with landfill, wastewater, and water treatment facilities.

Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University, a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University South Bend’s Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics.
