Emily Casanova

Emily Casanova serves as the Program Manager for the Student Entrepreneurship department. In this role, she helps support student founders through programming and event coordination for the department’s series of competitions and accelerators.

Before joining the University, Emily built a diverse professional background in customer service and administrative roles across several industries, including printing, health and wellness, and B2B SaaS — many within start-up environments. Her experience spans content development, operations, and team support, giving her a strong foundation in communication, organization, and problem-solving. She began her career as a television news producer, where she developed her passion for storytelling, attention to detail, and teamwork under pressure.

A native of California, Emily earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Spanish from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
