In less than two weeks, the ND MBA Tech Club will host the finals of first-ever ND MBA Technology Innovation Challenge (#NDMATIC) on April 20th, 2018, as a part of IDEA Week. 

The competition is being held in two rounds - a qualifier round, followed by the finals. This year, twenty teams from across the country participated in Round 1, presenting their views on Blockchain. An expert panel consisting of top executives at Thomson Reuters and SAP, as well as faculty at the Mendoza College of Business then selected the following universities as finalists.

NDMBATIC Finalists (In alphabetical order):

  • Arizona State University
  • Cornell University
  • Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth
  • UC Irvine
  • University of Maryland
  • University of Notre Dame (2 teams)
  • Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School

Blockchain and its potential to transform Value Added Tax is the topic 8 teams will present on to judges from Thomson Reuters, SAP and Mendoza. Team presentations are open to the public - It's a great opportunity to hear insights from top MBA programs and learn more about Blockchain as a technology.  Presentations begin at 1 pm in Jordan Auditorium at the Mendoza College of Business, with a new team presenting approximately every 30 min. Please note that the order in which teams present will be decided on the day of the event.
