Women's Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE) Career Forum 2020

Open to: Female students currently in undergraduate or graduate programs or those that have graduated in the prior 3 years are welcome to apply.

Women's Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE) is a nonprofit organization, which was founded in 2003 and is committed to the development and advancement of women in private equity and venture capital. WAVE achieves this objective through a series of developmental and networking events organized in financial centers each year.

Date & Time: November 10-13 2020 (detailed agenda to be released closer to date)

Location: Virtual

Description: The headlines and studies are pervasive on the gap in women in alternatives despite the proven value of diversity.  The goal of the Career Forum is to broaden the funnel of women into the alternatives industry and provide a setting where candidates can learn, engage, and network with industry veterans across the spectrum of careers.  This will be the fourth time that the Women's' Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE) has hosted the event.  Companies in attendance are expected to include private equity and venture capital firms, hedge funds, limited partners, investment banks, placement agents, and other firms within the alternatives industry.

Application: Students currently in undergraduate or graduate programs or those that have graduated in the prior 3 years are welcome to apply.

Unfortunately given the high volume of candidates that WAVE receives for this event, WAVE cannot provide feedback on submissions that were not accepted.  Candidates that are unavailable to attend the event are still encouraged to apply as all resumes will be included in a resume book provided to sponsors.
