Getting the first paid customer is one of the most important milestones a startup can achieve. It isn’t, however, necessarily easy. In this session, attendees will learn how to identify a beachhead market, target customers and convert them into sales. Moreover, it’s not uncommon for startups to achieve initial sales with those often referred to as “early adopters.” These customers, however, don’t represent the majority of customers startups need to grow. In this session, attendees will learn how to create a strategy for breaking through the initial early adopter sales and into an upward trajectory of consistent sales with a startup’s primary customer base.
