The Robinson Community Learning Center presents: the 10th Annual Youth Invention Convention

On Tuesday, April 24th approximately 10 middle and high school students representing six South Bend-area schools will compete at the 10th Annual Invention Convention at the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. The 10 student finalists will compete in either the high school or middle school divisions for best business plan and best presentation prizes. The top overall business plan and presentation will be awarded the “Investor’s Choice” award, which also comes with $300.

This 2017-2018 academic school year, the Robinson Community Learning Center partnered with South Bend schools to bring business and professional development programming to over 300 students. In preparation for the Invention Convention, students from six area schools presented one-minute business pitches to a panel of four Notre Dame graduate and undergraduate student judges. These returning students developed their business plans with the assistance of Notre Dame Student mentors, and will present to a new panel of judges at this final-round event.
