ESTEEM’S Neil Kane appointed to the National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Neil Kane, director of ESTEEM curriculum and capstone advising at the University of Notre Dame, was recently appointed to the National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship where he will serve a two-year term as a voting member. 

The National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a federal advisory committee managed by the U.S. Economic Development Administration’s Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. It is made up of 32 national leaders and experts and is in charge of developing a national entrepreneurship strategy that strengthens America’s ability to compete and win as the world’s leading startup nation and the world’s leading innovator in critical emerging technologies. 

“We are honored and excited for Neil to represent the University of Notre Dame on such an important committee,” said Kelley Rich, Notre Dame’s interim vice president and associate provost for innovation. “The mission of the National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship is critical to commercializing world-changing technology inventions and building robust entrepreneurial ecosystems throughout the country.”
